XL-800™ - SPEC 4000
Double jacket fire hose designed for maximum
strength and lightest weight. Ideal for high-rise
backpacks and/or heavy-duty municipal fire
fighting applications. Oversized waterways for
maximum flow and minimum friction loss. Half the
weight and one third the bulk of conventional
rubber hoses, flexible to -60°F (-51°C). Meets or
exceeds NFPA 1961, ZZ-H-451.
Construction: Circular woven, double jacket 100% virgin spun polyester.
Tube: Extruded T.P.U., a superior ozone and age resistant elastomer.
Length: MFG standard lengths up to 100' (30.5 m).
Jacket treatment: Optional ENCAP® encapsulation. Requires thin wall double jacket tail gaskets in couplings.
